We have worked with Margaret for many many years and have always found her work to be of the highest standard. Often food shoots can be more reliant upon the styling of the food than the photography itself. So having a clever and stylish Home Economist like Margaret is paramount. Margaret has always been a bonus to our work and not only that she is fun to work with.
Margaret has been a key member of our Home Economist Team for over 20 years, she has a wealth of experience in the foodservice industry, with wholesalers, manufacturers and a range of customers in Education, Healthcare and Business and Industry. Margaret’s communication and networking skills are invaluable for trade shows and exhibitions; her ability to build lasting relationships with customers is an asset to Quorn in foodservice. As a trained Home Economist, Margaret has flair with recipe development, writing and producing delicious recipes which she can demonstrate to an audience with talent and humour.
I’m a big fan of Margaret Hobbs. That's because she can always pull the rabbit out of the hat, and believe me sometimes like most photographers shooting hi-end I have needed that. Her food knowledge and experience in food styling make all the difference when it matters.
I have worked with Margaret for a few years and she always does a great job.
Ihave always had an affinity with food, it’s an art form to me, a visual as well as sensory experience.
My earliest memory of being involved with food was as a small child, making jam tarts at home with my mother. I remember the feeling of pleasure when feeding my family something that they enjoyed. I was hooked and although I didn’t know it then, food would become my future career and life.
I have worked with food for over 20 years as a Freelance Home Economist and Food Stylist. I love that every day is different. It’s great having the opportunities to meet lots of interesting people and share our passion for food. I like to contribute a buzz, bringing positive energy to a project.
